LUCEPLAN SELECTED FOR THE EXHIBITION OF THE FIRST ITALIAN DESIGN DAY IN THE WORLD

Ascent by Luceplan has been selected for the exhibition of the first edition of Italian Design Day in the World, set for 2 March 2017 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to promote Italian design abroad. In Palazzo della Farnesina in Rome, in a route that leads from the Atrio d’Onore to the meeting room of the Directorate General for the Cultural and Economic Promotion and Innovation, visitors can see a display of a selection of products that have won the Compasso d’Oro ADI award, on view for a period of at least 12 months.

The exhibition has a particular focus on the last two editions of the Compasso d’Oro, in 2014 and 2016, in which Luceplan has won the prestigious prize on both occasions, respectively with the Counterbalance and Ascent lamps created by the Norwegian designer Daniel Rybakken. It is precisely with Ascent that Luceplan takes part in this important new initiative.

The inclusion in the Italian Design Day in the World represents another outstanding demonstration of the excellence of Luceplan, proving the company’s status as a synonym for quality in Italian production, originality and functional innovation.
